With the integration of world economy, the competition between the enterprises is increasingly competitive in 21st century. To survive in the competitive market, Chinese enterprises must continually improve the product quality. The fact that China is a high-productivity country, not powerful country in automotive industry shows the great gap in quality management between national automobile manufactures and abroad.Therefore, to improve the quality of automotive products through establishing quality management system has been become the top task for automotive manufacutures.Based on the above challenge, this paper focuses on the following research work combining the needs of DFAC.Firstly, based on bulk of literature reading and deep investigation on quality management situation in China and abroad, the author elaborated and summarized the evolution of the concept of quality and the basic elements of total quality management, providing the theoretical basis for DFAC's quality management.Secondly, aiming to solve the current situation challenging DFAC, for example,the rigid quality management mode, lack of the concept of quality assurance system and strict R&D quality control, this article set up a quality assurance system from the points of the strategy of quality management and mainly described the quality manangment organization, quality management operating process and performance evaluation of quality management; and introduced the application of quality assurance system, including quality information management of the new product and customer satisfaction survey.Thirdly, based on the current key problems of the quality management mode, this thesis focused on the R&D quality control and production process quality control. In the process of R&D, the author mainly proposed recommendations for the automotive parts and suppliers, and in the process of mass production, by insisting on the idea that each process is the customer of the following process, the author bring forword the ideology that quality of all work in process should be guaranteed, providing a direction for the development of the company's quality management.
