T Company’s Bicycle Production Process Optimization Research Of Quality Management

As the bicycle’s function changes from walk-free to the fitness, the number ofconsumers’ demand for bicycles grows bigger and the quality becomes stricter. In order tooccupy a place in the market, the bicycle manufacturing enterprises must improve theirproduction efficiency and products’ quality.This paper’s object, T Company, is a typically middle-micro bicycle manufacturingenterprise, integrated use of a variety of quality tools and management methods,comprehensive consideration of the actual situation of the company, analyzed its productprocess. First, with the use of statistical process control methods, combined with MINITABsoftware, its production process and production capacity is analyzed, revealing that theproduction process is stable, but its production capacity is slightly weak. The results showthat only by the random factors fluctuations its production process. Secondly, throughCause and Effect Diagram, Pareto Charts and other quality management tools in-depthresearch and analysis quality issues to identify the causes of quality problems and they arewire-speed production line, incoming sampling, on-site management and productionprocesses. Then, optimized design for reasons of quality issues. As to line-speed of theproduction line, orthogonal design is used to identify the appropriate actual productionline-speed of the production line; as to sampling the incoming side, the first description ofthe original sampling percentage irrationality is made, and then makes adjustments ofsampling program; as to the site management, the use of5S management method optimizesthe design, and describes the specific implementation steps and methods; as to theproduction processes, the use of process improvement methods makes someameliorations on the original production process. Finally, from three aspects-qualitymanagement system, personnel training and performance management, some improvementsof quality management safeguards are proposed.The result of this study can not only solve T Company’s raising of the overall qualityof its production problems, but also bring their efficiency increase, cost reduction, enhanceemployee morale, production process optimization and other benefits. For other similarenterprises, a reference method and an example are provided to improve the quality ofproduction, promote their own competitive advantage.
