Research On Advantage Industries Evaluation In The Central Region Of China

The central region of China has abundant of energies and the mineral resources. This area is the main producing areas of grain and the key positions of the national transportation, which plays an important part in the national economic, political, cultural and social development. But because of the state preferential policies in the western region, the economic development of central China began to lag, even once led to the emergence of "middle collapse" situation. Diligently developing central region economy, effectively utilizing advantage in the midland region, and realizing the national economy to harmoniously and healthily develop are important goal in front of us currently, and also key for our country keeping rational district development. Advantage industries have higher economic efficiency and greater competitiveness, which can use regional advantages rationally. Furthermore, they have strong influence on regional economic development, and they will become a powerful driving force for regional economic growth. So, strengthens to the advantageous industries research, regarding enhances the overall horizontal of the central region of China, has the extremely significant sense.The article mainly researches on advantage industries evaluation in the central china, which in the view of the state preferential policies in and the development of the economic——globalization, marketing and information. In the course of the study, on the one hand, based on the defined concept of advantage industry, we recall the research at home and abroad, then apply the method of Location Quotient to choose the advantage industries in central china. On the other hand, this article uses gray relational analysis method to evaluate the advantage industries in central China. Gray relational analysis method doesn't ask for much of the accuracy of the data, and needs a small amount of calculation, so it can prevent the deviation of the result than dues to the data problems. This article's main research results as follows:(1) We study on the factors that affecting the evaluation of advantage industries. Based on the studies of other people, combining with the status quo of central industries, this paper designs an index system for the advantage industries in central China. Through quantitative calculation, the article sorts and classifies the advantage industries after selected out, and then makes clear that which industry should be first considered in the development.(2) In connection with the result of the evaluation, the article referring the strategy of Industrial Relocation into Cities along the Yangtze River and the content of third session of the eleventh National People's Congress and CPPCC sessions, raises a series of policy recommendations which will help the development of the advantage industries in central China.The research will improve the understanding of advantage industries in central China more deeply, and promote that the central region of China can take the development of the advantage industries as an opportunity to adjust the provinces industrial structure, which will lay a good foundation for the rise of central region of china.
