Analysis On The Peasants' Income Gap By Region Of Jining

As the central city of economic belts in southwest Shandong, as well as a typical representative of our medium cities, Jining has some unique features compared with the developed cities along the coast, due to its special geographic position and economic zone,etc.Jining is the central city of the economic belts in southwest Shandong as well as a typical representative of our medium cities.Owing to its special geographic position and economic zone,etc, Jining has some unique features compared with the developed cities along the coast, with the low urbanisation level, a large propotion of agricultural population, and the unbalanced development among different districts as its significant feature. Moreover, there are many problems in the operation of the rural economy, such as the unbalanced development of rural districts,and the big gap of peasants' income,etc, which lead to the difficulty in the processing of the construction of the New Countryside. Meanwhile, Jining encounters the challenge of improving the peasants' income and promoting the complete development of the economy in the acsset-based city construction.After retrieving the some scholars' researches at home and abroad, such as Kaisi Yang, Houkai Wei,Liren Shen, Zhili Bai, Weimin Yang etc. Based on their research material on the residents' income gap and their excellent research achievements, I determine the system and measures of evaluation. The thesis are written according to the data and analysis methods of statistics department of Jining, Shandong in 2000-2009, from multi-method, multi-perspective, and two different systems of subregion.According to the related experts' research results on the residents' income gap, I summarize their research classification, compare their system and measures of evaluation, evaluate the features in different categorizations, providing the reference for the orientation of the problems in this thesis and the system and measures of evaluation.Determine the category and the system and measures of evaluation of this thesis, and describe the calculation formula of the assessment criteriaAccording to the related documents from statistical department of Jining, Shandong in 2000-2009, I make the empirical analysis from different perspectives on the peasants' income gap of Jining on the basis of two different systems of subregion, using absolute gap index, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, Gini Index, Lorentz Curve system and Theil Entropy system. Consequently, I get the variation trend of the the peasants' income gap in recent decades.Based on the related statistical analysis theories and methods and combining the practical situation by region of Jining, I focus on the main factors which lead to the peasants' income gap by region of Jining and make analysis for that, present the methods to solve the problem mentioned above, give the advice for the development of Jining and new rural communities construction.
