Since the 1990s, the scientific and technological progress and economic globalization corporate changes in their patterns. Personalized customer demand and the development of information technology are increasing external pressure on the environment. The uncertainties faced by enterprise are high. Therefore, how to administer and control the flow of information between enterprises, reduce inventory and speed up the logistics and the flow of capital flow, increase production efficiency and product flow, are an urgent problem needed to address. Market demand and the uncertainty over time to enterprises in production and inventory obstruct decision-making, the need for such a demand for the development of the corresponding inventory control strategy. This paper concentrates on studying two nonstationary inventory control policies. The main research contents include:First of all, introduces the background of the thesis, and reviews the inventory control methods for nonstationary stochastic demand. Through summarizing the characteristics of the spare parts inventory control problems for process industry, we introduced modified Croston forecasting method for nonstationary demand to illustrate the demand nonstationary process. Then, for problems with constant nonzero lead time, time-varied unit purchasing cost and backlogs, a static-dynamic uncertainty strategy is provide. Compared with current static-dynamic uncertainty strategy, our method has lower costs and is more general. Finally, since the static-dynamic uncertainty strategy is not optimal after demand realizes, a new (st,St) optimal inventory control method for nonstationary demand is suggested. Model will be optimized at preliminary stage of the plan so that the inventory control parameters are still optimal for the rest of the planning horizon. Our simulation study shows that the system in focus will present serviceability and superiority. By applying this method to real spare parts inventory control problems, we show the application results. For nonstationary demand, the background of the thesis comes from spare parts inventory control problem in process industries. We carried out research on nonstationary stochastic demand. Try to develop new inventory control policies which can be applied to general problems without any limitation on demand distributions, length of lead time, backlog etc.The background of the thesis comes from spare part inventory control problem in process industries.
