Research On Highway Transportation Corporation Of Sichuan Province(1946-1950)

Located in heart of south-west of China , Sichuan is surrounded with range of mountains , many rivers cross over it , which is famous for " difficulty " from ancient times. The road of Sichuan is hard and dangerous .Sichuan began constructing highway from 19 century , and the transportation came in later . Huada Company , the first car company by private , was set up in 1926 . Then , many car companies appeared in succession . Sichuan Highway Administration Bureau took over all business in 1935 . The government overall controlled transport with military after the Sino-Japanese outbreak . The government permitted privates to buy cars to establish companies , which made private cars and the number of cars increase fast .There were 52 private car companies and garages all around Sichuan , carrier cars to 2400 .Highway Transportation Corp. of Sichuan Province , the largest one in Sichuan , was established after the Sino-Japanese War , which completely monopolized all transportation after Sichuan Highway Administration Bureau . Following company law and limited company , Highway Transportation Corp. of Sichuan Province owned tight organization system and completed management rules , but which was restricted by surroundings and couldn't avoid its shortcomings . Existed four years , Highway Transportation Corp. of Sichuan Province brought a great deal of benefits to passengers and the life of people , and established some certain foundation for Highway transportation of Sichuan after liberation .Through investigating Highway Transportation Corp. of Sichuan Province , this article mainly discuss its establishment , management and the social life with people .
