The Natural Sciences Society of China formerly known as Sciences Society of West China was established in September 1927 at the National central university,Nanking.At the very beginning of its foundation,it takes "research and develop the natural science" as its sole purpose. In the following year it changed its name to this.It seeks for the development of Chinese science and have achieved exceptional success.It has also been an influential and crucial comprehend national science and technology community at that time.Until then The Natural Sciences Society of China completed its historic mission and came to its end.In this paper, it focuses on analyzing development, operation, historical achievement and key factors on the progress in detail based on the systematic studies of it.At the same time it tends to make further study in this field. The Natural Sciences Society of China has established the "scientific world" journal,making great contribution on the promotion and popularization of natural science,also,it sits annual meeting, publishing papers to promote academic exchanges, holds public lectures on popular science knowledge to the public regularly,and organizes Western scientific investigation group many times for the purpose of developing natural resources.
