Research On Applying Whole Process And Total Quality Management Of Expressway Project

In order to overcome the weakness lies in traditional expressway project quality management mode, that is, quality management was only attached importance on project construction process and project entity, a Whole Process and Total Quality Management (WPTQM) mode is introduced in this paper. Compared with traditional way, the new mode is a more practical and more efficient way and method on quality management.Firstly, the current situation of Tianjin expressway is analyzed. Investigation and research have been made on trade administration, owner's management system, and construction market and environment. And questions are found and their impacts on quality management are analyzed. Then, WPTQM mode is come up for expressway owner per analysis that has been made. In the different stages of project construction, WPTQM is founded lengthwise through systematic layout and consideration on all factors that impact project quality management. Aimed at"people, machinery, material, means, environment", that the five key factors that impact project quality, WPTQM is founded breadthwise through the quality management from the viewpoint of expressway owner. Because WPTQM covers all stages and key factors that impact project quality in whole project construction period and quality management mode is formed lengthwise and breadthwise, expressway owner's quality management is improved and enhanced. In the end, a testified study is made on the construction of Jin-Shan expressway.
