Study On The Behavior Of Mining Enterprises Under The Benefit-sharing Mechanisms Of Mineral

With the demands of sustainable development and building harmonious society, the thing that explores a new model of development mineral resources has been put on the important agenda. This model demands that the local people should share the interests of mineral resources.Under these conditions, corporate must put their behavior into consider and use resources rationally and fulfilling social responsibility to achieve sustainable development and harmonious society.On this background, the study on the behavior of mining enterprises under the benefit-sharing mechanisms of mineral is proposed. This study has both macro and micro sense. From the macro level, it is important to achieve the harmonious community and the economic development goals. From the micro level, the study provides the reference behavior for mining enterprises and helps the enterprises to obtain a good reputation, competitive advantage and achieve long-term development.This paper uses the method of economics, law and mathematics to analyze the theory of distribution, resource value, social responsibility and sustainable development by qualitative and quantitative analysis. This study first researches on the mineral resources distribution system and then focuses on the behavior model of mining enterprises.The main progress and conclusion of this study as follows:1. Based on the theory of the distribution of benefits, this paper elaborates the interest-chain and the relations of main stakeholders. The paper also built the system of mineral profit, which includes state (central and local), businesses, local residents, employees and assessment agencies, and establishes the model of profit allocation between the national, enterprise and the local residents. This paper draws the following conclusions that the distribute proportion of various stakeholders is related to the size of their contribution.2. In this study, we focus on relationship between enterprise and the external environment-community, and put forward the concept of corporate community behavior. The community behavior based on the social responsibility can be regarded as the development on the rationalization of corporate behavior.3. Based on the theory of the social responsibility, the paper concludes that the responsibilities of corporate are composed of economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic. The paper also proposes the community behavior such as employment and donation and built the model of relationship between the corporate and community. Based on the theory of the sustainable development, the corporate values and the behavior of technology innovation are putting forward. In the study, we attempt to propose the model of corporate behavior assessment including the state, enterprises, workers, communities and ecological.4. Based on the analysis of the behavior of Anglo American plc and the socio-economic survey at Danba, Sichuan Province, China. The paper suggests the behavior of SAPE Ltd. (Sichuan-Anglo platinum exploration limited company) on fulfilling social responsibility and sustainable development for platinum exploration projects at Danba areas.
