Research And Implementation Of WebGIS-based Logistics Public Delivery Information Platform

One of the most important function of logistics public delivery information platform is to record and display real-time delivery information of vehicles and goods in a certain area, harmonize delivery solution between enterprise and intra-enterprise, realize the data exchange in various systems to share information, enhance the cooperation of logistics enterprises and corresponding upstream and downstream enterprises, form and optimize the supply chain.As the development of Internet and advancement in communication technology, as well as the maturity of cross-platform, component-based GIS (geographic information system) and GPS (Global Positioning System) technology, the foundation of transparent logistics enterprise based on GIS/ GPS can be possible. The navigation tracking of transport equipment and the playback of historical traces combined with decision theory of the optimal path and common delivery can greatly improve the operational efficiency of vehicles, reduce logistics cost and resist the risk.This article analyzes all aspects of users and services related with the delivery logistics enterprises'activities, combines characteristics of logistics delivery and geography information systems which effectively integrates GPS, WebGIS and MIS, designs WebGIS-based public delivery information platform. This article introduces five functional modules of information platform using a variety of methods in detail:vehicle tracking and positioning module, information management module, data analysis center, delivery optimization solution center, inter-enterprise cooperation platform. This article also proposes the solution of optimal delivery path and common delivery, focuses on inter-enterprise information sharing and cooperation.The information platform provides users with visual operation environment based browser.The introduction of WebGIS technology makes the platform more popular and easy to operate. The whole framework of the information platform in this article can achieve basic operation combination with extended function and give a good flexibility and expansion to the platform, code development framework is propitious to the expansion of system function.
