The effects of company training depends largely on the level of training management. Designing a training management system based on the employee training status, and improve the capability of training management, have very impaortant significance for both the development of the company and empoyees. Project Management Maturity Model expresses the organizational capability of implementing the project successfully and reliably in accordance with the intended objectives and conditions. It plays an important role on the continuous improvement for the organizing and impe implementing of the company's project management. Therefore, this paper attempts to apply the theory of Project Management Maturity Model to training management, Project Management Maturity Model expression of an organization with the goals and conditions in accordance with a predetermined successful and reliable implementation of the project, able to organize the enterprise's project management process of on-going improvement and play an important role. Therefore, this article attempts to apply the theory of project management maturity, training management perspective. By building training project management maturity model, and using Power Plant A's Chemistry Department training project managment maturity level as the assessing object, this paper help companies find their weekness timely enough, make continuous improvement to better training, by evaluating the training project management capabilities, and achieve their goals.First, the training management and Project Management Maturity Model theories were reviewed. The training system, training needs analysis, and training evaluation were researched, and details of the four representative Project Management Maturity Models were given, that is CMM, K-PMMM, OPM3, and PMS-PMMM. This established a solid theoretical foundation for the following study. Second, the condition of Chemistry Department training program managment of Power Plant A was introduced, including the Power Plant A's basic situation, the composition and characteristics of Chemistry Department's human resources and the status of the departmental training program. It provided perceptual information for the study. Third, in order to evaluate the project management maturity level of the department training program, this paper tried to establish a Training Project Management Maturity Model using for the evaluation of training project management, which includes five maturity levels of the initial level, the simple level, the standard level, the management level and the continuous improvement, based on the characteristics of training project management and Kerzner's Project Management Maturity Model, provided a evaluation index system for the assessment of the maturity level and calculation methods for the index weight. Then, using this model and Delphi method, a expert group was found, the department training management maturity level of Power Plant A was evaluated, and recommendations for improvement was suggested. Finally, the paper described the precondition and indemnification of this model in pratice, in order to improve the effectiveness of the evaluation.
