| China's tourism industry, after 30 years of rapid development, has scored brilliant achievements. Spatially, the grade of maturity of tourism industry shows rapidly descending trend from the southeast to the northwest on the whole. The tourism development in the underdeveloped areas in the aspect of tourism can be achieved through"quantitative expansion", while for those traditional areas where the tourism development is relatively mature, comparatively speaking, the aim should focus on the systemetical optimization and the integration, so as to achieve a"qualitative leap".Taian City, as a traditional tourist area which is in its more mature stage has made a significant contribution to the local economy as well as to the development of China tourism industry. In recent 10 years, Taian's tourism revenues and tourism contribution rate has been increasing year by year, illustrating the pillar position of the tourism industry in the local economic development. Whereas, as other grown-up tourist area, the growth rate in Taian is descending year by year. It is the result of the rapid development and fierce competition from neighbouring areas. It will be the persistent study to find how to reproduce the glory of grown-up tourist area in the study of tourism industry.Our study shows that the promotion of the system arrangement in the tourist area is the key factor of raising the qualities, competition of tourist area. There are three developing modes: congregation, radiation and expansion. Different stage of tourism development has different form and structure, and the stress, dynamic mechanism and mode of tourism development are different. Thus, the developing mode should be made before analysing the tourism structure and it's optimization, it is especially important for the summery and optimization of tourist development mode. The developing mode of Taian City is radiation. In order to make a"qualitative leap"we should adopt the expansion mode which is the third stage after congregation and radiation."Point-axle"theory is important in both theory and practical meaning. We are not only projecting the"plate tourism"mode after analyzing, but also projecting the"point-axle"theory and systemetical optimization measure at the same time. The projection and the implementation are the only way to the mature stage, and have a practical meaning for the tourism management in Taian at the same time.The paper includes six parts:Part one: Analysing the background of development in Tai'an; showing the aim and the meaning of the study; summarizing the spacial structure of tourism both in aboard and home; designing the method of research.Part two: Showing the theory basis of spacial structure study on tourism, and introduce three development mode and"plate tourism"mode.Part three: Introducing the general situation of both natural and social; dividing the Tai'an tourism resources into four areas: centre, west area, east area and expansion area.Part four: The tourism plan in recent 20 years shows two stages, the first is rapid development, the second is radiation. Analysing both advantages and disadvantages in tourism spacial structure.Part five: Projecting the"plate tourism"mode according to the aim and principle of structure optimization. Giving five suggestions on further development: expanding tourism area, improving integral image, strengthen the government management, coping with traffic jams and perfecting tourism products.Part six: Summarizing the paper's result, innovation and other questions needing to be studied in further research. |
