Major Cities In Shandong Province Comprehensive Assessment Of Human Settlements

Urban human settlement, not only include the physical environment which urban residents are living in, but also include the economic, social, cultural, political and other activities which residents in the physical environment are playing. In this paper, an integrated human settlement at home and abroad on the theory and practice of research, based on the objective of the urban human settlement comprehensive evaluation methods were explored, and applied to empirical analysis. This article first selected the evaluation index of Shandong Province urban human settlement, using principal component analysis, to conduct a comprehensive assessment of human settlements of17 cities in Shandong Province. Second, according to evaluation results, we got problems of major cities in Shandong Province urban human settlement and constraints improving the human settlement of major cities in Shandong Province, and then found measures and proposals for the development of Shandong Province urban human settlement.In this paper, according to the actual situation for the contemporary of Shandong Province urban development, from the living conditions, economic conditions, ecological environment and public service infrastructure four-pronged approach to evaluation of 26 selected indicators, which reflect the full state of the environment and urban human settlements 17 cities in Shandong Province to facilitate comparison between indicators. Select the urban human settlement evaluation is one of the objectives of its comprehensive evaluation. Using principal component analysis, conducted a comprehensive assessment of human settlements for 17 cities in Shandong Province. In this paper, data analysis, statistics and processing, used SPSS13and mathematical software Microsoft Excel.Be calculated using the above method, according to the city's comprehensive scores 17 to 17 cities in the level of urban living environment is divided into four categories: excellent human settlement of the city of Weihai, Qingdao, Rizhao City, Jinan, Yantai City ; good human settlement of the city of, Dongying City, Dezhou, Weifang City; General urban living environment in Zibo City, Taian City, Binzhou City, JiningCity; poor human settlement of urban Linyi City,Laiwu City, Zaozhuang City, Liaocheng, Heze City.Based on 17 cities in Shandong Province, a comprehensive evaluation of human settlement and urban human settlement with excellent access to city and national UN-Habitat Environmental Award for cities compared to the two aspects, combined with major cities in Shandong Province Habitat Environmental Situation and problem analysis for the major cities in Shandong Province Habitat environmentally sustainable development, this paper proposes practical and effective measures. Major cities in Shandong Province to improve the human settlement, human settlement must follow the five principles; to promote city, Shandong Province, the overall quality of human settlement improved, thereby narrowing the gap between cities; raising the city's overall economic strength, To improve the urban human settlement to provide material protection; to strengthen pollution control and reduce pollution, protect the urban ecological environment; increase investment in urban social human environment and promote the rapid development of social and human environment; to improve the level of urban infrastructure to meet the urban needs; the development of rational urban planning and realistic policies.
