Infrastructure is not only an important material foundation to enhance productivity, improve social situation and promote the development of urban modernization, but also an important content to construct the socialist modern city. Due to differences between regional levels in the process of urban development, the infrastructure needs to meet new infrastructure projects and to have old facility upgrades. In the process of the construction of infrastructure, it is very meaningful to get the infrastructure of the existing configuration level, to optimize the construction of infrastructure reasonable, to accelerate the development of cities.This paper is based on the research of the infrastructure related literature at home and abroad. From the present situation of 17 cities in Shandong province infrastructure construction, the infrastructure comprehensive evaluation analysis model is established, and it is evaluating the configuration level of Shandong urban infrastructure. Then on this basis it gets the lack of the urban infrastructure, and proposes some improvement suggestions. Finally, it is proposing some infrastructure configuration optimization countermeasures of the Shandong province regional.The study is composed of six chapters, the mainly research work and corresponding results can be listed as follows:Chapter 1 is introduction. This study is based on the research of the infrastructure related literature at home and abroad, combining the problems existed in the infrastructure construction of Shandong province, and putting forward the research content, methods, and technical route. It builds an overall framework for the paper in full swing.Chapter 2 is the related theory and the optimization mechanism of Infrastructure configuration. The chapter is based on Infrastructure related properties to define the connotation and scope. It summarizes and analyzes the related theory and discusses the optimization mechanism of Infrastructure configuration.Chapter 3 is the present situation of the infrastructure level of Shandong province in the process of urban development. This chapter is comparing and analyzing the infrastructure relevant statistics of 17 cities in Shandong province. It gets that the infrastructure construction has been develop rapidly and the road transport facilities, water supply and sewerage facilities, energy power facilities, environmental sanitation have greatly improved. However, the infrastructure construction level between different areas still exist certain differences.Chapter 4 is the comprehensive evaluation analysis of infrastructure configuration level in Shandong province. With the fourteen indicators of 17 cities in Shandong province, this chapter constructs a comprehensive evaluation model, uses principal component analysis to analyzing the configuration of the urban infrastructure, classifies the level of 17 cities infrastructure configuration by cluster analysis. The study shows that infrastructure construction level of Shandong province presents obvious regional differences:the eastern and central regions are significantly higher than the north, south and west region. The overall level of infrastructure construction is relatively not good enough. Only six cities such as Weihai, Qingdao, Jinan, Yantai and so on is above the average of infrastructure configuration level, and it is accounted for only 35.3% in all cities. On this basis it gets the lack of the urban infrastructure, and proposes some improvement suggestions.Chapter 5 is the infrastructure configuration optimization countermeasures of Shandong province in the process of urban development. This chapter is combining the planning, construction input and the problems existed in the infrastructure construction, and putting forward the infrastructure configuration optimization countermeasures of Shandong province.Chapter 6 is conclusion and prospective. This chapter is elaborating the research conclusion, explaining the innovation points and deficiencies and prospecting the future research.
