Due to the global financial crisis in 2007, only by changing the traditional development model of Chinese furniture industry, which depended on exports and domestic primary market, can it meet the needs of macroeconomic changes and political adjustments. Whereas, the demands of domestic III&IV urban furniture market and rural furniture market were expanding vigorously, and even more, this expansion is bound to become an important pillar of stimulating domestic demand in Chinese furniture market.However, because of long time disregarding about the domestic III&IV cities and rural market, the future development is full of unknown for many companies. Considering the situation, this paper tries to provide research data and exploration tools for the market by researching the performance of furniture retail on Nanyang region.This paper closely combined classic marketing theory with the status quo of furniture retail, through capturing the situation that the furniture market in Nanyang region to collect the terminal information, analyze and summarize the information, in order to work out a series of effective marketing strategies.1. According to the classical marketing theory, this paper makes retail sales of furniture become more scientific.2. This paper makes a deep analysis between consumer behavior and consumer psychology, and uses the feedback as the guide for the retail strategy.3. This paper established a retail model which is actually working in Nanyang region. From the model we collected kinds of useful data.4. The summary of final retail strategy is based on market experiments and it experienced constant improving. Furthermore, it is examined by the actual market.5. My paper will inevitably has inadequate, but the research method has reference value.Due to time constraints, I only have two years to do research. The market is changing day by day, but the theoretical and the scientific method used in the entire research process will be useful forever. My study is just an attempt of discussion on the furniture retail market, I hope this paper will attract more attention to this field, so that to creat a healthier and more stable furniture industry development.
