Integrated Evaluation Method And Application Of Development Status Of Highway Traffic

Highway traffic is an important component of the coordinated development of the whole society. Coordinated development theory, system theory and Integrated Evaluation theory has been used in this thesis for reference, quantitative and qualitative technique are used to analyze and discuss the Integrated Evaluation of the development status of highway traffic. The content of this paper are presented as follows:The correlation theory of the development status of highway traffic has been summarized.According to the characteristics of highway traffic, Evaluation index system of the development status of highway traffic has been established based on the content and aim of Integrated Evaluation. The indexes which are clear representational and definitude have been chosen. Highway traffic has been divided into three subsystems:construction scale, transportation efficiency and economic development of highway traffic.An improved integrated evaluation method for highway traffic based on coordinated development theory was discussed, the process of estimate has been analyzed, and the research framework of the development status of highway traffic has been established. Evaluation objects have been classified by different status in the process of Integrated Evaluation. Hierarchical model of integrated evaluation is used in this paper, both of linear weighted and nonlinear weighted models used to embody the idea of "equation". The nonlinear weighted model could reflect the development status of highway traffic according to "Cask Principle", the result of sequence which accord with the evaluate purpose could be found.The development status of highway traffic of each province and municipality of China in 2006 has been evaluated as an example. The characteristics of the method in this paper are presented as follows:The ideal point was composed with the value of the evaluated objectives; The ideal status is attainability; OTSU method was used to classify different sorts, it means that the difference between the two groups of numerical value is largest and presume the probability of fault is minimum; The approach of space-dividing make the integrated evaluation result clear and plain. We use the evaluation method which be divided into two steps:firstly, we divide the classification of the evaluate objects, secondly, we define the priority of the evaluate objects in the classification, the effect of weight can be reduced on the whole and extruded on the local, which is propitious to the moderate competition and development of systems. The integrated evaluation method discussed in this paper can offer the plain result for estimator in order to judge the coordinated development status of system, and to establish optimum strategy for various systems.
