Land was physical carrier of human production and social activities, which was the indispensable resource for human survival and development, there was no land, there was no human progress and development, the history of mankind was the history of land use. Land use reflected land use patterns and intensity of human, while the land-use dynamic change represented the development of land-use trends, both of which constituted the two major aspects of land-use study. The research for land use structure and dynamic changed, which contributed to a comprehensive and objective understanding of the land in terms of quantity, structure,spatial layout features as well as their trends,which provided for a basis for the region of sustainable land use,land macro management and planning. At the same time, land-use structure optimization studies were becoming increasingly in-depth, in accordance with the views of the structure determines function, optimizing land-use structure would better allocation of regional land resources, so that the limited and valuable land resources will provide huge benefit, which in order to provide resources and support for regional economic development and social progress.This paper selected fogang county which with Lingnan characteristics as a study object, using a variety of mathematical methods, analysis for the land-use status statistical data of Fogang county from 1998 to 2007, and studied on the number of land use, the degree of using and spatial structure respectly for Fogang county status of land use in 2007, while Fogang dynamic changes of land use was analyzed in detail, obtained a more accurate conclusions. In addition, based on the research of land use status and dynamic changes, with the Fogang county current and future conditions for economic development as a constraint, optimizing the Fogang county land use structure, came to the quantity of various types of land use in the planning end, and creatively put forward the elastic range and flexibility with the concept of the region, leaving a larger room for the land use of Fogang county.With the approval of the overall research process, reached the following conclusions: first, from the perspective of land use of Fogang County in quantitative, which was characterized by lack of diversity, a higher degree of centralization. In addition to Yangjiao Mountain Forest Farm and Kuanyin Mountain Nature Reserve, the utilization of various land-use types were closer to the regional similarity in other towns,clearly indicated that land use had a convergence in Fogang county.In the dynamic change, arable land converted to other land was the largest in quantity,while in the magnitude of change, garden was the largest one,the degree of garden development and dynamic were at a high level, at the same time, arable land and the garden were also a high degree of depletion. Secondly, land use ratio was higher in Fogang from the degree of use, the proportion of unused land accounted for only 3.22%.From the dynamic point of view, more developed economies, Shi Jiao, Tang Tang two towns, a higher rate of change of land use degree, but the overall extent of the township land use in the study period, no significant increase, there was no more room for the degree of land use. Third, from the spatial structure point of view, farmland, forest land, unused land in the county played an important role in the spatial pattern of land, the general characteristics of the county spatial pattern of land was cultivated land, forest land, unused land patches as the landscape matrix, cultivated land, forest land, unused land, as well as industrial and residential land use mainly four kinds of types, other types were supplement. The towns of all types of plaque shape, in general, relatively simple, the shapes of industrial and residential land was the most structured, the land shape of transport was more complicated. From the plaque Separated index point of view, the forest patches separation degree was the smallest one, followed by arable land, indicating the forest land, cultivated land of the county was contiguous spatial distribution, and dominates by the whole region. We can see from the dynamic changes , the unused land changes was the largest differences in various land-use types, indicating that the use of unused land in the years was high volatility. Meanwhile, the changes of other agricultural land were also high differences. In addition, other sites had smaller differences in land-use change. The same types of land in different regions also presented different distribution with the land type distribution area of relative change, providing references for Land-use Planning Revision and space layout optimization in future Fogang County.In order to improve land use composite efficiency , through multi-objective linear programming,optimizing Fogang land use structure, obtaining optimization results. The optimized structure compared to the status quo, the reduction of arable land and the Garden in quantity were the largest, and the reduction of woodland was lower in quantity; The other agricultural land area increased substantially, traffic land area had also increased, because the number of the rural population was increasing in the planning period, the number of rural settlements was also increasing, but the area of residential per capita in rural region was lower than the status quo. In order to better reflect the redundancy of optimizing the structure, discussing the range and flexibility of the flexible regions in the optimized structure with the layout of the application for the future, leaving enough space for Fogang. Finally, this paper provides guaranteed recommendations with the implementation of optimizing the structure, foothold in the planning constraints, based on the use of economic, technological and administrative means, to guide the implementation of structural optimization programs, and achieving Fogang sustainable use of land.
