The Economic Relation Of The Cities Above The Prefectural Level In The Areas Around The Bohai Sea

The Yangtze River delta, the Pearl River Delta and the areas around the Bohai Sea are three decisive economic zones in China; wherein the areas around the Bohai Sea becomes more and more important day by day, therefore, correlational research on the areas around the Bohai Sea turns to be active. Based on the road traffic distance, the economic relation between cities above the prefectural level in areas around Bohai Sea can be analyzed in a unique angle of view.By collecting related data of the areas around the Bohai Sea, the natural situations and economic current development situations of the areas can be known respectively as excellent geographical position as well as abundant natural resources, and important economic center around the country as well as trading port in foreign trade.Based on the theory of the relation of regional economics, the principle of urban economics and the like, the current economic relation of the areas around the Bohai Sea is specially analyzed:the areas can be divided into three parts of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Shandong peninsula and Liaotung peninsula which respectively take Beijing, Jinan and Shenyang as the center of each area. By the analysis on the economic and traffic situations of the cities above the prefectural level in the areas around Bohai Sea, and circle dividing, the result that a traffic circle is the basis of an economic circle; and the development decides that of the economic circle is obtained.As for the study method, by utilizing the computer aided design facility, namely, the cartographic software of AutoCAD, the profile of the provincial roads and the national roads in the areas around the Bohai Sea is drawn; the road distance between cities is calculated; and the distance size sequence table between each cities and another two cities in three cities is listed on the analysis of the road distance; after that, according to distance attenuation principle and the closeness formula of economic relation, the economic indicators of nonagricultural population and gross industrial output value of the cities above the prefectural level in the areas around the Bohai Sea are analyzed; and the economic relation between cities is calculated by utilizing the road traffic distance so as to further analyze the economic relation of the cities above the prefectural level in the areas around the Bohai Sea. By comparative analysis, the economic relation between cities becomes weak along the increasing distance.The economic relation of the cities above the prefectural level in the areas around the Bohai Sea is in accordance with the distance attenuation principle, i.e., the development relies on that of the traffic circle, which plays a good guidance role of generating regional development strategy which is that the traffic circle is develop preferentially so improve the traffic.
