The survival and development of an enterprise needs training, which is an important way of improving managerial efficiency and a key factor of attracting and retaining talents. Therefore, training contributes to the form of a favorable corporate culture and the enhancement of the enterprise'core competitiveness. In view of this modern enterprises pay more attention on the effects of staff training and put it on the level of development strategy as an important method of personnel development.The research object of this thesis is the staff training in Pudong Development Bank and the focus of this thesis is its staff training. This thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter includes the background, the research object, the significance, the research content and the methodology of this thesis; in the second chapter the relative theories are summarized; in the third chapter the present situation of the staff training in Pudong Development Bank is analyzed; in the fourth chapter the main problems of its staff training and their reasons are analyzed in the form of questionnaire; in the fifth chapter according to facts of its staff training systemic countermeasures and suggestions are proposed mainly in six aspects including the establishment of training thinking, the construction of training system, the standardized operation of training, the planning and implementation of major training, the innovation of training mode and the management of training resources; in the sixth chapter summary and outlook is done.Through the research this thesis argues that as a new joint-stock commercial bank its staff training should be considered and arranged scientifically combined with the development of strategies, operation and staff's career. In this thesis the following opinions are proposed:1, the staff training should serve for the developmental strategy of enterprise; 2, the training should be guided by solving problems so as to improve the staff's ability of solving practical problems; 3, according to facts the form of staff training should be innovated regularly and it should also be trained on internet; 4, the management and use of training resources should be enhanced to ensure a good training environment both inside and outside.
