Employee training is essential for enterprise survival and success. It plays a key role in attracting and retaining talents. Through training, enterprises can create good corporate culture and improve their core competitiveness in the market. By developing training programs, an enterprise can improve its employees’ knowledge, skills, attitude and behavior towards enterprise’s vision, which can help the enterprise maximize its profits and achieve its long-term goals.The development of commercial banks is a fundamental part of Mongolian financial system development. Over the past decade, Mongolia’s banking industry has been the country’s leading industry not only by economics measures, but also in terms of social responsibility. With the rapidly changing conditions of global financial industry, commercial banks have to keep up with the speed when it comes to new technology, new products, and more importantly, a fight for talent.This research takes the employee training of Mongolia’s Commercial bank A as a research object. The full thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter consists of background, significance and framework of the thesis and the explanation of research methods used. The second chapter summarizes the research review of basic theories related to training and development in Mongolia and abroad. The third chapter analyzes the background and current human resources situation of Commercial bank A. The fourth chapter examines the questionnaire answered by employees of Commercial bank A to determine existing problems; the questionnaire focuses on the following six dimensions: training plan, training structures, administration of the training, training methods, training outcomes, and evaluation of the training. The fifth chapter discusses Commercial bank A’s employee training reality and suggests improvements for the system. The final chapter summarizes the limitations and prospects of this research.
