Geopark is a place that possess special scientific significance, rare natural properties and gracefully aesthetic value. Geological heritage landscapes in a geopark have a certain size and distributed circumscription as the mian, integration of natural and cultural landscapes, and have ecological, historical and cultural values. A geopark can provide geological heritage protection and support local economic, cultural and environmental objectives of sustainable development.Also a geopark can provide people with higher scientific quality of the tourism, leisure, health infirmary, science education, culture, and entertainment place. Geological landscapes serve as a travel resource for public enjoyment, but a geopark is not just a simple sense of the geological landscapes, it is based on geological heritage landscape as the main body and into the natural landscape, and set of scientific value and aesthetic value in one, with the theme of science education in a comprehensive tourism. A geopark greatly contributes to global natural resources, especially the process of geological heritage and provides both protection and development of local economy, finding ways to solve the problem of how to better protect the geological heritage and the development of local economies.To build geopark is a new mission of Earth Sciences.Phoenix Mountain is a natural geological landscapes endowed with our valuable property and the rocks and landforms of geological heritage were formed in the late Proterozoic-Triassic (1000 million years ago -205 million years ago) after the formation of hundreds of millions of years of geological non-renewable natural resources. Class of water body is the Cenozoic geological landscapes of surface water and groundwater in the fracture forming the basis of the catchment. It is the witness of the evolution of Earth's history that is rarely seen in geological heritage landscape. Accompany students to their forest ecosystems, biological communities typically irreplaceable. In order to effectively protect the geological heritage in Phoenix Mountain, it is necessary to improve the park's planning and advocacy work, while strengthening the infrastructure and service facilities, changing the park into a high scientific quality of the geological heritage-based sightseeing, vacation leisure, health infirmary, science education, culture and entertainment places.The geological landscapes in Phoenix Mountain Geopark combine scientific, typical, rare, systematic and integrity and beautiful nature in one.the geomorphology, structural geology class relics and geological heritage of water provide a perfect example of protecting and developing and constructing the geopark with sustainable development, sustainable use of major significance.First of all, this paper describes the status of domestic and foreign national geopark construction and the results of theoretical studies at home and abroad. Then, we introduce the basic profiles, geological background and heritage assessment and conservation management status of Phoenix Mountain Geopark.And at last we list Phoenix Hill geopark's construction program.
