Geopark has Great scientific,economic and aesthetic values,after a long period of Development and changes,Geopark become the basic resources for people to understand the development of Earth and human history,Its unique geological landscape is a source of natural beauties.In recent years, With an increasing number of world geological park and the National Geological Park in our country,There have been so many questions Appeared, Assessment on the values of economic for Geopark,In favor of Protect its ecological environment and tourist resources of the Geopark,Have an important significant on reasonable development and management,Strengthen its Scientific and research values and increase its aesthetic value.The paper on the basis of field investigations,use the software of Excel and SPSS,Combined with the basic statistical methods at the same time,analyze the characteristics for the tourist market of Taimushan Geological Park and establish the valuation system,Assess its Intrinsic and extrinsic value, Make a brief analysis on the problems which appeared during in the development, management, operation and protection,Finally,put forward the constructive comments.First of all,Analyze the characteristics of Taimushan’s source markets From the space distance and time distance point of view, It Will be divided into three levels. Then analyze the socio-economic characteristics of Taimushan’s tourists From the tourist gender, age, occupation, education and personal income. At last, analyze the characteristics of travel behavior for tourists.Secondly, based on the questionnaire, use TCM and CVM to evaluate the use value and unuse value of the tourism resources of the national geological park Taimu mountain respectively.The national geological park Taimu mountain includes a variety of using value, in this paper,we only evaluate the recreation value, the evaluation results of the national geological park Taimu mountain shows that the total visitors consumption is450.0141million yuan, the consumer surplus is730.3179million yuan, the recreation use value is1.18billion yuan. The unuse value is6.711billion yuan, of which, the existence value, heritage value and selecting value is respectively2.275billion yuan,2.221billion yuan and2.215billion yuan.Through analysis, obtain the results that the non-use values much larger than the value, which Proved that there have been great development potential about Taimushan National Geological Park. There are also many scenic spots in the development and management process, Make relevant recommendations to improvement Against these questions.
