With the development of industry,it set the higher request to the material.It was difficult for a kind of material to have high toughness and hardness on actual condition.Thus, with composite technology ,it makes the two different characteristics metals combines together. The resulting composite material has a comprehensive performance of the two metals. At the time ,this may lead to lower costs, energy, and to play a comprehensive role in the best economic benefits.For domestic composite shaft sleeve industry production is relatively backward and the accuracy of shaft sleeve products is low,this paper proposed the establishment of a new type of double metal shaft sleeve of the production process, This will improve the technological level and production efficiency, reduce metal consumption and production costs. Thereby it promote the technological progress of machinery industry, and achieve the green manufacturing goals.Double-metal shaft sleeve is a new shaft sleeve material,which set two metals with different properties in one. In this paper ,double metal shaft sleeve were prepared by cold extrusion process, in order to improve the mechanical properties. First,cold extrusion process of Double metal bushing was simulated by ANSYS finite element method,deformation model was established ,and the stress and strain,metal flow and the binding of the final steel and brass was analyzed during extrusion process,which proved the theoretical feasibility of the cold-extrusion process applied on producing.Then,experiment was carried out for cold extrusion forming, and compared with simulation results. Double metal shaft sleeve composite was formed with good quality. This further verified the feasibility of the technology. Finally, by the mechanical properties of experiment, the good combination properties of double metal shaft sleeve was determined.
