Molded pulp product is a kind of geometrical cavum cushioning paper productswhich can suffer certain stress.The raw materials often form waste paper or plantfiber.They are foamed into different structural cavum after pulping,molding,drying andrefoming.Its significant is Friendly to the environment. Because it tends to separate andcan be recycled.The application of Molded pulp product has become more generalized。The principles of Molded pulp product is that its detormation can absorb energy.Itextend the time to achieve the goal.However, molded pulp product will produce plasticdeformation when the larger forces acting on it.The ability of buffer will be weaker if itdose again.Because of the structure of molded pulp product,it has the problem ofconcentration stress.Molded pulp product loses the ability of protecting products,whenthe forces act on it.Through analyzing the structure characteristics of the molded pulp product,the studyshow that is composed of many structural units,what determining the ability ofcushioning.In the study,buffering mechanism of traditional molded pulp has beenresearched.A new structure of archde structure has been presented.The characteristic ofstructure unit has a great affect for cushioning properties.And the new unit is archstructure Unit.Based on the theory of robust response surface designs, simulation analysisof the arch structure unit is in analysis.Though the analysis,we get the main parameters ofwall thickness B and arch height H.The accurate data of the arch structure unit,what isinfluenced on buffer performance.It is processed by using MATLAB software.Two ordermodel of responsive surface model are fitted.The optimal combination of designparameters are identified. The dropping simulation analysis of the buffer packaging ofHP notebook computer is taked by DTM.The maximum acceleration is850m/s2.Theresult is lower than the HP rule of100G on dropping analysis.
