Molded pulp is widely considered to be the most ideal material to substitute the foam because of its great properties, such as wide source of raw materials, environmental protection, good mechanical properties, easy molding etc. With the enhancement of people’s awareness of environmental protection, molded pulp products have been widely used as cushion packaging in various industrial products, even used as outer packaging of commodities. However, traditional molds can only produce the molded pulp products with a draft angle, which limits the structure innovation of molded pulp products, and the application scope of molded pulp products.The new molded pulp packaging products of this research is a kind of wine-box base product with vertical wall structure, In order to produce this high-grade molded pulp product with 90° straight wall structure, and satisfy the production requirements of high precision, uniform thickness and demoulding reliability, this paper developed a split type suck-filtration mold, and focused on the key technologies such as spite structure design, mold opening, spotting location, demoulding mechanism, etc., hope to provide a scientific basis for production and application of this new type of molded pulp products. This paper mainly include the following contents:(1) Analyzed the design requirements of molded pulp products for wine-box base, designed a new type of molded pulp product with straight wall; and detailed the key structure parameters of the product, to provide the basis for subsequent research on mold;(2) In order to produce this kind of new molded pulp products with no draft angle, designed a split type suck-filtration mold; based on the forming process requirements of the new product, the research focused on product release mode, split structure design, calculation method;(3) To ensure the product thickness uniformity, it needs to study the opening of split type suction-filter mold; By analysis of the slurry suction-filtration resistance in the split mold, established the filtrate flow model of the hole outlet, analyzed the opening ratio relation between different parts of the mold, and studied the opening arrangement method in different parts of the mold, which provided a scientific basis for the opening of split mold.(4) To ensure the dimensional accuracy of mold cavity and the products, studied on the spotting location mechanism for the upper mold, and spotting location mechanism for the upper and lower mold; Analyzed the location principle and error of location mechanism for mold spotting;To ensure the product with straight wall structure released from mold, analyzed the principle and structure scheme of the demoulding mechanism;(5)To verify the reliability of key parts of the split mold, it’s necessary to study the structure characteristics of key parts when working; By the two software Solid Works and ANSYS Workbench, analyzed the deformation and stress situation of the support pillar, simulated dynamics response of split mold structure in the collision.
