With the rising of aerospace products, especially the use of all kinds of new materials, the processing technology is also gradually improved.Now the aerospace field processing technology limited mainly comes from the lack of high, refined, sharp cutter technology currently common two-dimensional CAD technology hasn’t been meet the production requirements of aerospace enterprise, how to develop the suited to the characteristics of the tooling manufacture 3d parametric tool system are numerous enterprises in implementing CIMS (Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems) bottleneck problem in system.In view of the enterprise actual demand, this paper cutter usage for enterprise to carry on the field investigation and analysis, determine the enterprise the classification principle of cutting tool and encoding, build the 3d parametric tool system based on UG platform.According to the enterprise actual situation, puts forward a new method of building warehouse, namely the parameterized technology and UG secondary development technique, combining with Teamcenter software data management module, the classification of building enterprise tool 3d parametric graphic repository. Established the disc type gear milling cutter as the template file as a source of data driven cutter parametric parts repository, the basic framework of the 3d model series of gear cutting tools can be automatically generated. The Teamcenter software and interactive use of UG software detailed research, and with the aid of Teamcenter software of data storage function, different data format compatibility between storage capabilities, complete 3d parametric model of the cutting tool repository store, call, editing and other practical function.Analyzed the enterprise on the basis of the Teamcenter server, multiple clients to work together, the master server for data access management, client authorized data editing, modification. Implementation in the true sense of the feasibility of open, collaborative development mode.
