Mine ventilation system is an important system of mining, a good ventilation system is guarantee for mining safety work. Many domestic metal mines begin to deep mining, as the mining life growth and shallow resources reducing increasingly. With the mining depth increasingly, ventilation roadways and resistance become longer and bigger. Fan operating condition and ventilation network does not match, the ventilation system is unable guard for mine production of underground. Therefore, it has very important practical significance to optimize the ventilation system.This paper combined with the practical situation of a metal mine to carry out the optimization of mine ventilation research. As the mine capacity expansion and develop middle decurrently, former ventilation system has been unable to meet current production needs; especially the ventilation system will be installed the main return air shaft of the east wing, which are reentrant type ventilation problems in the West Wing, ventilation resistance increases, satisfy the safe production in mine ventilation environment without air. To carry out the relevant research works in view of the situation of this mine and some similar mine(deep mine expansion) as followings:basing on investigation and determination in mine’s ventilation appearance, three available sollutions were supplied,then use Ventsim software to simulate and chose the better fan, deciding the best solution via analyzing the aspects as technical, economy and safety; The use of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for the optimization scheme from the security reliability further assessment. Using the mine ventilation network complexity, the main fan performance qualification etc. 17 indexes to evaluate the optimal scheme.The results showed that: The original ventilation system can’t satisfy the mine’s safety production, and optimizing the scheme(in the middle western +1010m install a fan, inclined shaft and drift which connected surface, formatting a central air inlet, the wings return air ventilation system which use the original East Line 66 return air network.)can well solve the problem of mine ventilation, improve mine ventilation conditions, effectively reverse the original ventilation system can’t satisfy the situation of production safety.
