Environment pollution and resource shortage have become a more and more serious social problem. Around the world, hundreds of millions of tons of waste textile are produced annually, so it is urgent to carry on the recycling and reuse of the waste textile. It is a problem worthy of study how to reasonable recycling waste textiles. How to not only ensure recycling products has its economic value at the same time to minimize the environment impact is the focus of the research in this paper.Based on the analysis of recycling process assessments, this paper puts systematically forward the theory and method of waste textile recycling feasibility evaluation based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(ahp), together with the idea of product life cycle and the characteristics of waste textiles. The emphasis is put on the deep and systematical study of the waste textiles Recycling process assessment theory and method as well as the development of the assessment support tool. The main research of this paper includes:Analyzed and summed the textile waste recycling process. Through analyzing the current situation of recycling waste textiles research both at home and abroad, the main recycling waste textile method and the product were systematically summarizes.Establish textile waste recycling feasibility evaluation index system. This paper proposes a systematical, dynamic and rather scientific and reasonable index system for textile waste recycling process assessment which meet the different assessment needs, based on the analysis of various index systems advanced by many other researchers from different angles, as well as with the author’s own investigation and analysis.Establish waste textile recycling process evaluation model based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (ahp). According to the characteristics of textile waste recycling process and the structure of assessment index system, the author introduces the analysis method of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (ahp) which is suitable for the quantitative indicators can also be applied to the qualitative index. It can express the assessment results with quantitative values; therefore it can show the level of the product integrated performance indexes more completely, which improves the assessment’s support effects on the design process. Develop textile waste recycling process evaluation system. Under the Windows environment, the author develops the textile waste recycling process evaluation system with the computer language of JAVA. Referring to the theory of modular design, this paper establishes the system with eight modules, analyses the relation between each module and the system characteristics.A case study of recycling waste cotton textiles. Through the study of many kinds of recovering waste cotton textiles method, the recycling process model was established, and setup recycling waste cotton products data sheet through a lot of information collecting. Based on this listing, by fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (ahp) to determine the weight of each index system, with the sorting method of approximation to the ideal solution finally got the comprehensive sequencing of each recycling process. From comprehensive score, physical recycling method is the most advantage at this stage. From the percentage of each index data, we can see the contribution values of each technological or economic impact to the environment and improve the concrete process.
