As an important kind of crushing machine, cone crushers are widely used in metallurgy, mining, coal, water conservancy, construction, environmental protection and chemical industry. With the increasingly depleted ore grade, mining and mineral processing increasing scale and a sharp rise in energy costs, how to reduce the unit energy consumption became the focus of attention. The analysis of cone crusher force and energy parameters is the foundation of reducing energy consumption. At the same time, a more precise force and energy parameters is the necessary premise to analyze the machine kinematics characteristics of cone crusher in different working conditions. It has critical theoretical and practical significance to improve users’ economic benefit and promote the development of new type crushing equipment. In this paper, the cone crusher force and energy parameters were carried out as follows.In order to accurately analyze the motion law of granular materials in the crushing cavity, the motion model of single particle are established by analysis the movement characteristics of movable vertebrae and the granular materials in the cone crusher. The motion prediction of granular materials in the crushing cavity and the hierarchical model of granular materials in the crushing process are based on this motion model. It also providing theoretical basis to accurate calculate the crushing force.Crushing force of cone crushers has the characteristics of random and fuzzy. Random and fuzzy theory is cited here to eliminate the impact of fuzziness and randomness on the research of cone crushers. The error of crushing force result from the process of traditional calculation is modified with the help of this theory, and the calculation of the crushing force distribution in the broken wall surface is more accurate. The rationality and accuracy of the model is verified by analyze the force of main shaft and eccentric sleeve.To analyze the variation of force and energy parameters by change the type of granular material as well as the structure parameters and movement parameter of cone crusher, obtained the crushing force distribution and size in the close side under different circumstances and the required crushing power in different feed ratio, then contrast the resulting force and energy parameters in different precession angle and rotating speed of eccentric sleeve with the standard parameters. The conclusion can be used to guide the production site.
