The demand for liquid natural gas (LNG) has become larger and larger, numerous devices and facilities of natural gas liquefaction have been put into operation, and more and more attention has been paid to production training aimed at LNG in China during recent years. However, the old-fashioned production training mode of hardware document of LNG cannot meet the training demand anymore. Meanwhile, owing to the requirements of safety production, on-the-job training is not thorough enough. Therefore, it is the only road to realize training informatization via LNG simulation training system based on computer simulation technology by organically integrating computer technology and chemical engineering process.The core of training simulation system is chemical engineering process simulation model and model data transmission. As a subsystem of realizing process model and data interaction, simulation subsystem will provide effective data support. Contents of this thesis are as follows:(1) Analysis is made for the application and research status of simulation system, especially chemical engineering simulation system at home and abroad. Meanwhile, the development situations of chemical engineering process simulation technology are introduced. Besides, chemical engineering simulation modeling methods and process steady simulation and dynamic simulation technology are discussed, and LNG production technology and mechanism are illustrated.(2) Demand analysis is conducted for simulation subsystem; design objective, design principle, functional requirement and performance requirement of the system are discussed. Meanwhile, introduction is given to the general framework of training simulation system that the simulation subsystem belongs to. On this basis, the overall architecture of simulation subsystem and basic system function modules are designed.(3) Data structure module and algorithm code module of algorithm system of simulation subsystem are designed and realized in details. Besides, process module lapping and model data interaction module of model management system of simulation subsystem are designed and realized in details. In addition, process simulation module of simulation subsystem is completed.(4) The system deployment environment is described:Multiple functions of the simulation subsystem covering operation, data and algorithm are tested, running time and algorithm support quantity of the simulation subsystem are tested, and some effects are displayed.This thesis designs and realizes a "simulation subsystem of liquefied natural gas training simulation system". The system can realize informatization of worker training, assessment and evaluation, exercise and improve the workers’ ability of handling emergency accidents, help managers realize safety production, and make human resource work of LNG enterprises digitalized.
