Piston is the key component of combustion engine and other vehicles. Designing noncircular piston pin-hole is a important way to ease the internal stress focus and prolong the piston' s life. So it* s very valuable in practice and economy.Based on the research of Noncircular Pin-hole NC Machining System, my research change its control scheme from open loop to closed-loop. Because of the elimination of the old system' s bug arising from extern disturbance and the system error, the new system improves a lot on the machining quality and machining stability. Presently most CNC systems are developed based on Dos OS and ISA bus. With the developing of compute technology, Operate System with graphical interfaces , for example, Windows, Mac and etc, has replaced Dos and become popular in OS market, computer ISA bus also has been replaced by PCI bus. My task makes some researches on the Noncircular Pin-hole NC Machining System' s closed loop control in the OS of Windows. On this basis, the paper discusses the CNC system based on PCI bus interface.In this paper, the project origin, research significance, related technical status and main research contents are briefly introduced. The whole system design scheme is given in detail. Then according to the scheme, the system hardware design scheme and the machining control software are dissertated in separate. Finally, the paper gives out the running effect of every module, and in emphasis, discusses the difficulty in the process of development of CNC in Windows OS, the Device Drivers, as a result, the research testifies the feasibility of the system scheme and brings forward a way to develop NC software in Windows OS based on PCI bus. In the end, the paper discusses how to develop CNC system software based on PCI bus in Windows, and gives out some examination effect.
