With the development of our country's industries, people make demands of transverse shear line of steel plate more and more strictly. Confronting with this situation, AnShan steel company decide to research and design T44-4.0~14.0×1650 digital transverse shear product line.AnShan steel company transverse shear applies the advanced technique of PROFIBUS to the control center of the system. So the system which is more efficient and accurate has reached a higher level in our country.PLC 315-2DP of SIEMENS is adopted as a main station of the system which plays an important part in system control. It deals with various data and flow of technique; Two touch screen TP270, as the second main station of the system, can be used by workers to monitor system; By using ET200M, a kind of long-distance I/O module, I/O devices can enter the nearest substation, so it is convenient to connection and debugging; 6RA70 is a total digital DC variational speed equipment which has perfect communication function. By connecting with PROFIBUS communication option CBP2, we can get PROFIBUS-DP substation. It responds to the commands of the main station real time and controls devices directly. At the same time, it monitors and returns running state of the machine.We not only analysis the design and configuration, but also study control system's arithmetic deeply. However, there are many disturbances. We all know that roller slot's pressure and the thickness of the steel plate are all different, the material is different and the electric net is fluctuating, and so forth. So we can not build an accurate mathematical model. As a result, the conventional method is not fit for fixed-step control system. Considering the reasons above, we introduce fuzzy control in this paper, and it is proved to be a good method.We make simulation about motor controlling by MATLAB simulink,and do research into the structure of DC variational speed equipment.We give some hardware circuit of DC variational speed equipment,and analyze the arithmetic of it, and master the theory and design method of the DC variational speed equipment.In DC variational speed equipment debugging process,we insist on combining theory and practice,making good effect.The paper discribe the debugging process,and account for the step and notice proceeding,we accumulate more experience about this kind of project.Moreover, the paper introduces general situation of PROFIBUS and the basic character of PROFIBUS-DP,and do some research the design of PROFIBUS-DP substation by usingSPC3.Take an example of eight input loops PROFIBUS-DP substation,We discuss the design from not only hardware but also software.
