This article used the SBR to process the municipal wastewater treatment on the preliminary experiment, proposed microorganism as indicator to demonstrate the reduction efficiency.SBR has such features,as simple process flow, stable efficiency, small floor area, stronger ability for resisting shock load, convenient operation. The first time SBR will be operated in meizhou. Make response to the adverse condition in time and make sure the device being operated efficiently and stably is following key task of the wastewater treatment plant.Firstly, we compare and determine the technological conditions and controlling parameters emphatically. Then we research the efficiency for removing various pollutant and the change of microorganism community on stable condition.The results of our experimental research that SBR has high efficiency of CODcr, B0D5 , TP and NH3-N.The removal rate of CODcr is between 84 and 87%; BOD5 is between 27% and 40%; NH3-N is between 53% and 78%; TN is between 27% and 40%; TP is between 74% and 78%. During the stable period, we find of following phenomenon: the sludge is grayish brown, the structure is tight, and the kinds of protozoon are abundant. So we can come to the conclusion that the system is normal and stable. Comparing inception operation to on stable condition, the quantity of population of bacteria is high as 33 times in the mixed liquor of activated sludge, the quantity of protozoon solidifying is the most in the mixed liquor of activated sludge, occupies the absolute superiority and achieves 104 magnitudes as it is in the good quality of the water. But under bad condition, quantity of the flagellate increase and water become pollution. According to those tests in above, we expound principle of microorganism in wastewater treatment.It is show that microorganism and protozoa in especial can make response to the adverse condition in time, and give the important guidance to the device, the make sure the device being operated efficiently and stably.
