Automation and intelligence of welding process become more and more popular in welding technologies. And these are hot in the welding region. Because of rich labors and some other objective reasons in China, manual or semi-automation welding is used frequently. The manner makes workers tired because of heavy duties and long-time working, waste too many labors and is of low efficient.Because of the nonlinear, time-variability and uncertainty of the submerged-arc welding progress, the characteristic of accurate mathematic model being hard to establish, we can adopt the fuzzy control technology to design the welding dolly control system, and the couple closed-loop fuzzy control velocity system and fuzzy control algorithm for the speed of the welding dolly are researched based on the control system of submerged—arc welding. When multi-kinds of interference occur, such as the barrier, the circumstance of upgrade and downgrade resulting in the change of resistance, and electrical source's fluctuation, all those influence has a little influence on the speed of welding dolly and the invariable speed and the regulative speed can be realized. Using the traits of arc adjust itself of the CO2 welding, adopting slow-descending feature or even feature of electrical source equipping with system that delivering the welding rod at the invariable speed, then, the arc burning steadily is realized, and the quality of welding is improved.According to the characters of welding process, a suit of microcomputer control system that takes the high-speed microprocessor as the core is researched. The controller has the functions that monitoring the welding process at real time, setting the welding regular parameters and real-time displaying. The system has the strong capability of anti-interference, the traits of high efficient, high-speed dynamic response and so on. It can well satisfy the demand of welding process's intelligence control.
