| In this thesis, the author first analyzes the development history, principles and main function modules of ERP which is the management information system of manufacturing companies. Then, base on Schuller Fiber Glass Product Co. (A company in Process Industry) Fourth Shift ERP project implementation, the author lays a strong emphasis on the unique characteristics of Process Industry, analyzes management requirements gathering, business process reengineering and optimizing, ERP project implementing procedure and methodology etc. Also the author presents several typical problems that need to be solved before launching the ERP system. Finally, an evaluation of the project's success is performed. |
