Sampling device was self-designed and self-made to collect samples of fire power plants flue gas and motor vehicle exhaust gas. And then it analyzed PAHs and carcinogenic by High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).Power plant flue gas before and after the dust catcher and exhaust gas emissed by motor vehicles (including petrol and diesel vehicles) at different conditions were collected. Scanning Electron Microscope and Laser Granule-size Instrument were used to analyze the microscopic surface characteristic and particle size-distribution. All samples were sequencely pretreatment: extracted by soxhelt extraction, concentrated by Kudema-Danish concentrator, separated by column chromatography and blew with purity nitrogen. HPLC was used to analyze the sixteen polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) of pretreated samples qualitatively and quantitatively. By comparing the various sources of PAHs in the content and distribution and basing on the determined datas, the source component spectrum and source component spectrum outline drawing were established. The results showed that coal particles were round, motor vehicle exhaust particles were puff. The content of PAHs befor the dust catcher was more than after the dust catcher. As for the PAHs in exhaust gas emissed by motor vehicles, C acceleration>C idle>C decelerates>C uniform speed. Meanwhile, benzo (a) pyrene had high relevance with total PAHs. Analysis of benzo (a) pyrene is equivalent to carcinogenic power (BaPE), which obtained BaPE comparatively sole BaP and indicated effectively carcinogenicity invoked by PAHs.According to the vehicle emission levels of PAHs, motor vehicle traffic and wind speed meteorological parameters, the concentration of PAHs in every point could be forecased using EIAA software solutions HIWAY-2 and CALINE-4 model .It showed that the calculated concentration of PAHs on both symmetry sides of the centerline were same. The forecast outcome was higher than experiment result.
