The system of purified terephthalic acid(PTA) equipment was very complex,and its operation difficulty was big and its requst was high. The development of simulation system of the equipment of purified terephthalic acid was very important to its running.On the basis of a brief introduction to the develop of chemical simulation technology, this paper gave a elaborate introduction to the structure, technical principle, design philosophy and the development process, the establishing and solving of some unit's mathematical model.The article first reviewed the relevant concepts of simulation technology and research situation. Presented the basis and purpose of this paper, analyzed the key point and dificult of this subject. Then introduced the system needs analysis, architecture and the function of the system module design. And then introduced the key mathematical modeling of the system, including the main reactor and process parameters and control module of the mathematical model. Finally, introduced the design and realization of the key modules of the system based on PCAuto platform, including communications interface module, the control module, score software modules and interface modules.The system architecture is rationally and flexibly optimized. Thus the fidelity simulation of DCS is achieved,which has a general and more opening operating condition, and also provides a opportunity for further development. The system is significant to the improving of the current training method and the increasing of the training efficiency.
