Tea Seed Shell is by-products uncoated from camellia oleosa seed before camellia oleosa seed extracting Oil. The major ingredients are Cellulose and tea saponin. The Seed Shell were used as raw material in the thesis, and the thesis mainly study microwave-assisted Extraction of tea saponin in the Seed Shell, and purification technology of tea saponin. Preparation of activated Carbonas used extracted leavings as raw material were solo studied. This paper studied that tea saponin was extracted by ethanol, carbinol, water as solvent from Camellia shell with microwave treatment. In the extraction test, the factors such as microwave power, microwave radiating time, solid-liquid ratio and pH value was used for studying the effect of yield rate. By comparing the three different extraction result, Ethanol sovent of microwave-assisted extraction is used as following process. The optimum condition of extraction was obtained through orthogonal test as follows:ethanol concentration was 80%, microwave power 500W, liquid-solid ratio 1:43, the extraction time 8min, yield of tea saponin from Camellia shell was 12.26%.This research adopts macroporous adsorption resin to purify crude extracts of tea saponin. the absorption and desorption behavior of macroporous adsorbent resins named as D101,AB-8,4020 were investigated The result showed that the pore size and surface area of these macroporous adsorbent resins were key to the adsorption and desorption capacity. The resin D4020 was selected from 3 kind of resins as the most suitable adsorbent of tea saponin. The optimum condition of adsorption of macroporous Resin D4020 was obtained through study as follows:pH was 6.0, tea saponins' concentration was 40 mg/mL, adsorption time was 60min. The optimum progress of macroporous desorption resins D4020 is concentration ofsolvent used for elution 80%, desorption time 80min, volume ratio of eluent to Column Injection4:l,adsorption rate of tea saponin 89.75%, desorption rate of tea saponin 90.01%,purification of product is 86.12%.This research adopts wet residua extracted completely tea saponin as raw material, and phosphoric acid as Activating Agent to prepare activated carbon. The optimum conditions of reaction were the optimum activation time 120min, concentration of oxidizer60%, liquid-solid ratio:2.5:1, activation temperature550℃, the decoloration rate of activated carbon was 93.6%.
