Coal Mine Area Ecological Security Assessment Research

As a foundation in China, Mining is an important element of economic and social development. With the exploitation of coal, a kind of important resource in China, its influence on eco-envioment of coal mine is intensified. Ecological environment of coal mine is severely destroyed, have caused substantiality's effects on entireeco-system structure and function, especially in recent years. Under the background, researchers on example of evaluation on eco-system safety of coal mine has very important scientific value and realistic meanning.This article introduces"pressure-conditions-responsemodel"based on a lot of relevent reference and the conception of region ecological security. Choosing Nantun coal mine as it's object of study, this paper constructs an indicator system of ecological security assessment by the methods of arrangement analysis which based on the ecological environment and economy and social situaton of Nantun coal mine. Furthermore, the essay defines the weight of each indicator by arrangement analysis.This article uses linear weighting comprehensive method to evaluate the ecological security overall level of Nantun coal mine for the year 2005-2008. For overall thought ecological security overall level of Nantun coal mine assumes the trend of escalation in 2005-2008 years. The composite index of ecological security was 0.8260 in 2005. The composite index of ecological security was0.7877 in 2006. The composite index of ecological security was 0.8486 in 2007. The composite index of ecological security was 0.8683 in 2008. The ecological safety of composite index was decline in 2006 because of coal prices which increased the intensity of the exploitation of coal resources. The ecological security of composite index was increased continuously in recent years, the main reason is that the government of Zoucheng strengthened the administration of the coal mine. From the aspect of regional the ecology degree of safe, the overall level of ecological security is at general condition. For the seek of realizing coal sustainable use in Nantun, the paper aimed to the ecological security of Nantun coal mine, usingthe theory of sustainable development and making corresponding recommendations in order to achieve the ultimate goal of sustainable and harmonious development of ecology, society and economy.
