There are many rivers and very rich water resources in our country, the h ydraulicians have built many sluices and dams In the past few decades, Yet m any sluices are built on the overburden layer. in the built hydraulic engineering s, How to deal with these technical matters of building sluice on overburden l ayer, optimize lock basin structure design and save on investment is one of peo ple concerned problems. The influence that overburden layer to the sluice struc ture and their interaction are a complex key issues, at present,Research in this area is not mature,so need people to in-depth exploration and research. The paper apply the Finite element structural analysis software of ANSYS, I establish a 3D-finite element model Which Select two holes of Kangshan sl uice as the basic model。The foundation and development of the scope of simu lation,In the analysis of the three-dimensional finite element of Kangshan sluice, All solid elements are used hexahedral element SOLID 45.The Concrete Struc tures in the sluice and Bedrock are Used of linear elastic material model to si mulate. The overburden layers of bedrock using Drucker-Prager constitutive mo del to simulation. The sluice Gate upstream suffered by acting on the pier thru st of the equivalent nodal forces on the bracket to impose; Swimming up and down in the form of pressure to the surface force acting on the gate of the co rresponding position; Yang pressure on the floor in the sluice In the form of t he surface force. Consider the weight of the structure and foundation of gravit y, In the finite element boundary constraints in the region., Taking into accoun t the range of simulated large enough, It is assumed models do not exist arou nd the horizontal displacement, horizontal rod connected; model of the bottom of the rock foundation with a three to a fixed constraint.,This paper focuses on Kangshan sluice coating chamber structure and over burden layers of bedrock in the End of construction period, Design flood level and the check flood level structure of three conditions occurred chamber displ acement and stress distribution and variation; And in these three conditions, the displacement that occurred on the trends and changes in stress were compared and analyzed., Meanwhile, in order to further analyze the structure of coating thickness on the chamber effect, By changing the thickness of the overburden layer to establish several finite element model. According to the result of cha nges in coating thickness on the chamber structure after the displacement and s tress, to find some rules for the construction of locks on the cover design to provide some basis. To analyze the sluice gate piers on the floor in the defor mation and stress distribution, the paper also by changing the thickness of the gate pier to create multiple finite element model, to identify with different thic kness gate piers on the floor in the deformation and stress patterns.
