Along with China's economic development and cars' amount successively increase, urban traffic problem has become the most important troubled issue in large and medium cities of China, and continued to spread. In modern times, traffic planners have found the old way to solve traffic problems existed some problems, and begin take attention to solving urban traffic problem microcirculatory system in detail. Traffic microcirculatory system as a subsystem of urban traffic system, to maintain the normal operation of city traffic. Therefore, the deeply research on mechanism changes in transport microcirculation, to explore efficiency of microcirculation, which is important for improve urban traffic.Firstly, In order to make full use of urban traffic microcirculation road resources and relieve traffic congestion in road network, this paper analyze the traffic characteristics of microcirculatory system based on ancient research and apply, including the general features, system features, traffic flow and traffic demand characteristics of traffic microcirculatory system, and make the classification of microcirculatory system from different perspectives. Analysis the relationship between branch network and traffic microcirculatory system.Secondly, this paper desingn the integrated optimization process for urban traffic microcirculation system based on characteristic analysis. To relieve traffic congestion in road network is defined as the optimization objective, and the congestion road sections could determine based on traffic flow feature and traffic demand by combining Analytic Hierarchy Process with gray correlational analysis method. It can define traffic microcirculation detour route to resolve the pressure of major road.on traffic microcirculation condition to determine a reasonable road network grading, road network spacing and road network density by some quantitative methods. Thirdly, this paper establish road network evaluation index system which suitable for microcirculatory system combined with the similarities and differences between urban circulatory system and microcirculatory system, including some traditional evaluation index on road network and the microcycle characteristics evaluation indicators. This can provide a quantitative evaluation for traffic microcirculatory optimization.Finally, The methods are proved through a core area of central urban district traffic microcirculation system optimization in Qujing. It can prove the valid of optimization method relying on actual cases.And make a effect evaluation in Qujing traffic microcirculatory system by using macro and micro methods, the results showed that the core area of Qujing traffic problems have been effectively improved, and the method can provide a traffic microcirculatory road network system optimization reference for other core area of cities.
