| With the rapid development of society and economy,traffic congestion problems of western countries have also begun to appear in major cities in our country in the process of urbanization,and road traffic problem in old urban districts is becoming a difficult one among urban traffic problems.That is to say,it will restrict the city’s economic development and modernization process if we do not take effective steps.One-way traffic management measures is an economical and effective traffic control measure which can alleviate urban traffic congestion effectively and make full use of existing urban road network capacity.Therefore,aimed at the traffic characteristics of microcirculation road network in old urban districts,it is of great significance to find reasonable one-way traffic organization method to improve the quality of traffic operation.This paper relies on the "Beitai Pingzhuang traffic organization optimization"project,and is expanded from the part of one-way traffic organization optimization which I am mainly responsible for.The main work of the paper includes:(1)First,the concept of old urban district,microcirculation road network and one-way traffic is explicit in the paper.Combined with the analysis of traffic characteristics of urban old districts microcirculation network,the necessity of setting one-way traffic organization in microcirculation network is analyzed.Then this paper summarizes the characteristics of one-way traffic network mode,the method,the favorable and adverse effects of one-way traffic organization in detail.In addition,this paper put forward a set of systematic procedure of one-way traffic organization optimization program,which provides the basic theoretical basis for the following one-way traffic organization optimization scheme.(2)Based on the results of field investigation and traffic survey,this paper introduced the basic situation of Beitai Pingzhuang southern area,including traffic problems,road network pattern,traffic volume and spatial distribution,etc.At the same time,the impact of complex road traffic environment in old urban districts is taken into account in the reduction of road capacity.Furthermore,the data of urban road saturation degree and service level has been obtained and the spatial distribution of morning and evening peak traffic flow is analyzed in the paper,which provides the basic statistical basis for the following one-way traffic organization optimization scheme.(3)Considering the actual situation of Beitai Pingzhuang southern area,this paper analysis the adaptability of one-way traffic organization in the area from the aspects of road network form,road condition,traffic demand and public transportation.And start with the traffic contradictions prominent branch road and Characteristic Hutong road,the streets which should be set for one-way are chosen.Finally,the one-way traffic organization optimization scheme which is adapt to road network and traffic characteristics is proposed.(4)By using TransCAD,the effect of the optimization scheme is simulated and analyzed.The results are evaluated from the angle of traffic volume,saturation distribution,improvement of road service level,travel time and detour distance.Finally,the conclusion is drawn:by using this method,the road network traffic becomes balance,the congestion section becomes clear without the excessive traffic load on the surrounding roads.that is to say,the one-way traffic organization optimization program is reasonable and feasible. |
