Graphic Study Of Commercial Building Space-based Algorithm

This thesis is about the monographic study of the arithmetic diagram and its application in the commercial architectural space. Based on the current research of the commercial space and recognition of the important role of diagram in the designing and researching processes of architecture, and with the help of computer graphics and arithmetic knowledge, the author summarizes an approach of diagram which can be achieved through calculation and logic arrangement.This diagram approach has the typical character of the abstract expression as all diagrams, and meanwhile, it enjoys the capacity of data message delivering and information processing, it is a method of diagram which transforms with the instant change of the original data in computer language. The function of certain space in commercial buildings is clear and the organization of these spaces is complicated. This particular diagram, on the other hand, is able to analyze this complicated space and can be a reference of the adjustment of the way that these spaces are laid out.This thesis has two major parts, the first part is the introduction and analysis of the materials related, and is an exploration of the emerging process and the application value of this new arithmetic diagram. In detail, the description of commercial space and the analysis of its characters are involved, as well as the basic knowledge of diagram and the relationship between diagram and architecture. Besides, the abstract expression of diagram, the introduction of computer graphics and the connection between arithmetic and diagram are also included.In the second part, with the combination of computer graphics and geometric arithmetic, Voronoi Algorithm, Metaball Algorithm and Quadtree Algorithm are generated. And then, respectively, these three arithmetic approaches are used in the analysis and test process of the balance, the impact and the distinction of commercial spaces. Through the analysis of actual cases, certain conclusions are made and the re-organization and restructuring of commercial building space are realized.
