Intersection's Mixed traffic problem is a major difficulty in urban traffic management, because of the phenomenon of mixed traffic,it makes our city intersection operation disordered, capacity reduced, delay increased. In order to improve the running order of the traffic intersection, this paper is based on the project "planning of research between CHN and US's youth", this project is conducted by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF),the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, one graduate student from University of Tennessee Civil and Environmental Engineering college attend this research about mixed traffic in Kunming's signal intersection.First of the paper I choose some signal intersection in Kunming's fiest-ring road to get the vidio data, focus on the bike&ebike's rate of arrival,time headway and speed and gives some of the statistical distribution. This data will be used for constructing the model.After summarizing conflict's form and classifying between vehicles and bike&ebike. I establish the direct bike&ebike to the right-turn vehicle traveling capability influence model in the signal intersections. First of all, the paper use for reference of gap acceptance theory in non-signalized intersections, by the observation of motor vehicle's time headway, derive gap acceptance of bike&ebike crossing motorvehicle turning right,according to the traffic fluctuation theory find the time occupancy rate between bike&ebike to the motor vehicle turning right,then derive the conversion factor of capability in motorvehicle turning right. Apply the model to three signal intersection.In the paper I choose an entrance in every intersection to get the conversion factor.Finally use the simulation software VISSIM to verifiy the model.The gap of results between modeling and simulation is about 2%-8%.This paper derive the conversion factor of capability in motorvehicle turning right, find out a method to calculate the conversion factor. The model is on the basis of actual survey data,we think it will promote the theories and methods about mixed traffic.
