In the case of the continuous increase in the number of motor vehicles and the characteristics of mixed traffic in China,the intersection has become accident prone.Because our traffic laws and regulations for the right traffic flow has no signal control,the right-hand motor vehicle and straight motor vehicle import conflict,non-mobile hybrid flow cross-conflict performance is more and more prominent.In order to improve the operational efficiency of the intersection,and to ensure the safety of the multi—traffic behavior,in this paper,by analyzing the conflict mechanism between the right turn motor vehicle at the signalized intersection and the direct motor vehicle and the non motorized mixed flow,the right turning control method for the intersection system is studied.This paper defined and made the process analysis of right turn conflict at intersections.First of all,the traffic flow characteristics of the straight train at the intersection are analyzed and verified,the law of straight right import conflict is determined,and the straight right import lane passing capacity model is established.All of them are based on the intersection of the right turn conflict investigation by using the statistical data.Secondly,the running characteristic,the saturated flow rate and the velocity of the non-motorized mixed flow at the intersection are investigated and analyzed.The model of the flow rate and the right turn delay is established to determine the non-motorized mixed flow Major factors of conflict.This paper studied on the right-to-right vehicle collision,right-hand motor vehicle and non-motorized hybrid flow right-turn signal control method based on the conflict mechanism,the threshold value of right turn signal control is established by using the calculation model of right and right lane.According to the characteristics of non motorized mixed flow rate on the right conflict at different sizes of the quantitative analysis,And according to the non-motorized mixed flow to reach the different flow rate of the impact of the size of the impact of different sizes of quantitative analysis,There is three kinds of control strategy,that is,do not open the right control,semi open and fully open the right control control right.From the study of the saturation flow rate value of the non-motorized mixed flow,the right-hand control threshold is determined as the fully open state.The non-motorized mixed flow arrival rate and the right-turn delay model are determined by the threshold of the right-turn control half-open state control,And the analysis of the semi-open control of the specific signal timing method,the function of the relationship between the model cut point threshold does not open the right control.It provides a theoretical basis for the scientific effectiveness of signal control by fine-tuning the right-turn signal.Finally,the two control methods are integrated into the right turn control method for the signalized intersection system.Taking the actual intersection as an example,the virtual simulation software VISSIM is used to establish the simulation model,and the reliability of the right turn control method is verified.No right turn control and right turn cycle control are adopted to compare the three controls of right turn adaptive induction control.Through the comparison results,it is found that the adaptive sensing control method in this paper is helpful to alleviate the right turn conflict,reduce the traffic delay of the collision traffic and improve the passage efficiency,and provide the guiding basis for solving the right conflict at the intersection.
