In China, vocational education is in a flourishing condition, but our country is suffering the enormous pressure about the employment of graduates, some graduates is difficult to find suitable jobs, and the wage of the initial employment is even lower then the migrant workers ; On the other hand, the company could not hire the right graduates. The root causes of this situation is that graduates lack essential, basic operating skills, students can not combine the theoretical knowledge which they learned in school with the practical. To this end, we urgently need to improve the overall teaching environment of vocational education, strength graduates'practical abilities and shorten the distance between business needs and vocational education.This thesis introduces a system for the engine performance detection and fault setting.With the background of advanced electronic common rail diesel engine, based on network teaching, integration of theory, practiced teaching with practical work-based process-oriented teaching method, simulated work place setting and common rail diesel engine car ,the system can achieve equipment, educational software and teaching aids network control. Meanwhile, the use of the system can save time, increase teaching capacity, expand teaching effectiveness, from the image of the perception enhanced the students interest in learning, guide students to observe and think independently, while enabling students to learn in the interactive mode, and fully mobilize students'learn enthusiasm, initiative, and optimize the process of classroom teaching and improve learning efficiency.The test showed that the system has reasonable hardware configuration, flexible software design, simple structure, friendly interface, easy operation and high reliability. And can well solve the teaching problem of electrical signal's "invisible, intangible," ,with broad application prospects.
