Along with the development of economic integration, it will bring the industrial internationalization, make the volume of trade between and within countries increase sharply, promote the enterprise logistics equipment and logistics technology development. The forklift usage is higher and higher, it has been penetrated into whole sectors of the economy. In recent years, with foreign brands enter into Chinese forklift market, forklift competition is becoming more and more intense. In addition to meeting technical performance requirements, people also put higher and higher demands to their riding comfort.The subject addressed a handling Machinery company, described the ergonomic design and research on the forklift cab. Based on ergonomics theory, combined with the work environment, it analyzed the formation conditions of a comfortable sitting position and the basic method of safety design,formed the mathematical model between the seat parameters and human dimension data, designed the size of forklift seat. Matlab was used for calculating the seat's comfort position, determined the position range of seat under comfortable sitting posture and the seat's regulating variable. The size, position and angle of the steering wheel, the control handle and the foot board was designed based on the man-machine engineering analysis to the operating control and combined with the operating characteristics of forklift. Based on the ergonomics design and analysis module of CATIA, the manikin which conformed to the Chinese human body dimension was established, evaluated the forklift seat and the operating control. It has showed that all parts were corresponding with the forklift cab's comfort requirements, the forklift truck cab comfortable evaluation system was established which used the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. It also established the evaluation indicator and the weighting parameters according to the actual situation. It has carried on fuzzy accessing through blurring operation. Results showed that the forklift cab's comfortable has been improved. The research results have provided the scientific basis for forklift seat design and the operating control design.
