The flood is a seasonal and strong disaster. They can cause the forming of coast, turbid flow, scour and floating matter. For the comprehensive reaction of multiply and superposition of correlation of disaster, it brings huge harm to the road and bridge which across the river and mountain. To minimize the loss of disaster and hidden trouble, it is an effective way to improve the capability of against the disaster of building structure besides changing the factor of environment of disaster. Basis on this idea, this article follows the balance of flood and force of structure and stability of principle. It will give you a model of quantity analysis from the destruction mechanism. It will show you how to predict the disaster and hidden trouble and provide the technology of protecting and example. The aim of this article is to provide effective way to protect bridge against flood.The main work of this article concentrate the followings:1, How to make decision for method of designing of the testing model of bridge?s force and for dimension of model according to flood. And according to the designing proposal of operational platform of main pier of Dayang River, the testing analysis and theory analysis were made for the horizontal force and vertical force of flood against the bridge. These got the testing results ofvelocity distribution, waterline, average data of water pressure and pulsation probability and also got some conclusion of disciplinarian and parameter of formula of the force of flood.2, From the destruction mechanism of flood acting on bridge, we sought the weakness of structure of bridge and analyzed the destruction mechanism in broken part of bridge which was acted on by flood to decide the safety testing program against flood.3, From the structure mechanics of bridge, we analyzed the function of structure mechanics of bridge for different depth of water, velocity, flux and kinds of situations of scour, floating matter, ice pack and to confirm the designing proposal of the operational platform of main pier of Dayang River and to make conclusion clearly.
