Gis Applications Based On The Management Of Road Maintenance And Development

This paper analyses the current technology of Geographic Information System (GIS) at home and abroad as well as the application to the management of road maintenance.It depicts the main functions,aims,features and expansionary trend in the GIS's application to the management of road maintencmce.It also delres the feasibilities about the GIS's application to the management of road maintenance and words out a structural framework by using the GIS to develop twice and set up a data bank about the management of road maintenance.
