In this paper, a dual-axis digital AC servo-system is studied. The overall design of this system was introduced. In order to improve the system reliability and save power and size, a computer control system basing on single chip microprocessor MSP430 is developed to realize the system control and communication. Also the application software is realized and put into use. Furthermore, for the actual system, the intelligent PID was analyzed, simulated and debugged, and the results of experiments show that the good performance can be achieved when intelligent PID is applied.
